3M™ DMD® High Performance Flexible Laminate is designed for insulating and protecting electrical equipment. It offers excellent dielectric and varnish absorption characteristics while ensuring low moisture absorption. 3M™ DMD® High Performance Flexible Laminate is ideal for slot cell, phase and wedge insulation. The conjunction of the inorganic filled resin system and 2 layers of the polyester film make this laminate suitable for major high temperature applications. It exhibits optimized thermal conductivity, long term voltage endurance and coil bonding characteristics. The tear initiation and cut through resistant polyester film reinforcement are excellent for automatic insertion and heavy duty winding operations.It can be used in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220(R) per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085. 3M Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems may be found on UL’s Electrical Insulation Systems database at http.//database.ul.com/systems/.
